History of the Colonel Light Medical Centre
Colonel Light Medical Centre is one of the oldest medical practices in the district. We have been providing medical care and support to the local community from our location at 499 Goodwood Road for almost a century.
Today, the practice includes seven generous sized consulting rooms (including a dedicated treatment room), a comfortable waiting room, a modern reception area, and ample on-site as well as adjacent off-site car parking.

Waiting Room Facilities
A small reading area is provided for children. A private area for breast feeding, changing nappies or to lie down, if feeling unwell, can be provided on request. An interesting and informative range of pamphlets on a variety of health issues is also provided for your convenience.
Car Parking
We have off-street parking for patients that is easily accessed at the front of the Medical Centre, including a disabled parking space next to the entrance. Other car parking is available in the car park adjacent to The Chemist King pharmacy, just next door to the southern side of the practice.
Facilities for People with a Disability
A parking space for the disabled is provided next to the entrance to the Medical Centre for easy access. A wheelchair is available on request. Disabled toilet facilities are also available.

We are committed to ongoing improvement in our clinical care and delivery of service. Feedback from our patients is essential to the evolution of our practice and is welcomed.
